Fullerton Museum Center Announces Co-Op Classes

FULLERTON, Calif. (Feb. 8, 2017) –– The Fullerton Museum Center will host two Creative Co-Op classes in conjunction with the Alphonse Mucha exhibit.

The first class, Beeswax Candles and Candle Holders, will be held on Friday, February 24th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The cost is $20 and covers all the materials. Participants will be hand rolling beeswax candles with herbs, scents, and pressed flowers to create as a keepsake or a special gift.

The second class, Tabletop Shrine, will be held on Friday, March 24th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The cost is $15 and covers all the materials. The class will use devotional art from the Middle Ages as inspiration and participants will create a small, free standing triptych for a tabletop shrine at home or office.

Participants are also encouraged to bring photos or small personal objects from home for this unique mixed media art piece. Wine and Beer will be available for purchase.
