Citizens Invited to ‘Walk and Talk’ with New Councilman
FULLERTON, Calif. (December 23, 2016) – Newly elected City Councilman Jesus Silva will begin hosting monthly “walk and talks” with the first event taking place at the Fullerton Museum Plaza on January 14, 2017.
Silva will host the “Walk and Talk” at 8 a.m. on the 2nd Saturday of each month. He is slated to be at Byerrum Park on February 11th located at 501 N. Raymond Ave, Olive Park, located at 901 Gilbert Street, on March 11th and Richman Park, 711 Highland Avenue on April 8th.
During the “Walk and Talk,” citizens will be able to ask questions about city activities and projects, as well as other matters of concern to them. Participants are advised to wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.
No appointments are necessary to participate in the “walk and talks” and all are welcome to come join in the discussion.
In addition to the “Walk and Talk,” Councilman Silva will also be conducting a monthly “Conversation and Coffee” located at Green Bliss, 305 N Harbor Blvd, Suite #103. The conversation will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the last Wednesday of every month, beginning on January 25th.
