CANCELLED: The Goonies Dive-In at the Fullerton Community Center

CANCELLED: The Goonies Dive-In schedule for Friday has been cancelled due to the Opening Ceremony for the 2016 Rio Olympics, which will kick off the official start of the Olympics on August 5, 2016.

Hey you guys! We need shipmates to walk the plank and hunt fer treasure. Ye’ be invited for some pirate fun. Aaarr! The Fullerton Community Center unearthed One-Eyed Willy’s lost treasure and is hosting “The Goonies” Cinema Nite ‘Dive-In’ on Friday, August 5th at 7:00 p.m.

The 1985 adventure comedy “The Goonies” will be playing on the big screen outside on the lawn and at the indoor swimming pool. Bring a blanket for the family to sit on and watch Chunk do the truffle shuffle or relax while the kids work out their energy watching Mikey and friends in our indoor swimming pool. The water will be comfortable for movie viewing and lifeguards will be on duty to ensure safety.

Registration includes movie admission and pool access. The first 50 kids to arrive will receive a Pirate’s Captain Goody. Registration cost is $5.00 per person. Children 2 years-old and under are free. Admission on the day of the event is cash only. Advanced registration is highly recommended, with a limited number of swimmers permitted in the pool.

Doors open at 7:00pm. The movie will begin at 7:45pm. Don't forget your swimsuit and towel for a refreshing night swim. Come in ye pirate wear - if you dare! 

We'll have lots of treats, the rich stuff! Two Saucy Broads Pizza  will be selling delicious food and Bootlegger's Brewery will be offering a variety of their famous beers. Mama Fratelli did say, "It's wet ain't it? Drink it!" Additional concession favorites will be available for purchase. Outside coolers, food, or lawn chairs are not permitted at the event.
