Museum Center Seeking Applications for Board of Trustees
Applications are being sought from those interested in filling vacancies on the Fullerton Museum Center’s Board of Trustees.
Applications are accepted beginning Wednesday, June 1, and ending Friday, July 1 by 5 p.m. Applicants do not have to be Fullerton residents. Applications may be obtained by calling the Fullerton Museum Center at (714) 738-6545, by visiting the Museum at 301 N. Pomona Ave., or by going to the Museum section of the City’s website at CityofFullerton.com.
The Fullerton Museum Center is a cultural museum and home of the Leo Fender Gallery, and also provides year-round music and art programs for children and adults.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for helping raise funds to help finance exhibitions at the award-winning Fullerton Museum Center, and provides the Museum staff with recommendations regarding exhibits and programming.
The board works in cooperation with the City of Fullerton, and the terms are for six years. Meetings are held the third Monday evening of each month at 7:00 p.m., at the Fullerton Museum Center.
The Fullerton Museum Center is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Museum is also open from 6-8 p.m. on Thursdays.
Persons requiring special accommodations to serve as a trustee are asked to notify the Museum staff when submitting an application.
