The Fullerton Community Center will host a free education retirement workshop on Thursday, May 12, and Tuesday, May 17, from 6:30-8 p.m., where attendees will learn about key retirement topics and strategies to help maximize social security income. Other topics will include learning more about Medicare options and strategies, long term care solutions, and reverse mortgage myths versus facts. The program, presented by Tarkenton Financial, will also feature discussion on understanding the new Social Security rules, when to claim early or when it makes sense to delay benefits, and learning how timing the claiming of Social Security benefits can earn substantial more in additional benefits.
