Museum Center Offers Creative Crafting Classes for Adults

The Fullerton Museum Center will continue their Creative Co-Op series this spring. Creative Co-Ops are workshops featuring local artisans presenting a variety of crafts and artistic ventures. Workshops are held from 6-8 p.m. at the Fullerton Museum Center, 301 N. Pomona Ave and suitable for individuals over 21 years of age. Admission is $15 for Museum members and $20 for non-members, and includes materials.

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Fullerton Museum Educator Aimee Aul will lead a beading workshop to create birthstone jewelry on Friday, April 29. Attendees can create a customized pair of earrings and bracelet featuring birthstone crystals.

The Friday, May 13 Creative Co-Op will be presented by creative designer and small business owner, Virginia Sandfer, who will focus on crafting cleaners with natural products and essential oils. Attendees will learn how to utilize the cleaning properties of everyday household items, and leave with homemade laundry detergent and samples of essential oils.

For more information or to register for a Creative Co-Op class, please call (714) 738-6545. Persons requiring special accommodations are asked to notify Museum Center staff prior to the classes.
