Community Meetings on Mapping for Voting District Boundaries

Fullerton, Ca - Fullerton citizens are invited to attend several community meetings around Fullerton with demographic mapping expert, David Ely of Compass Demographics, to discuss the process of maps for voting district boundaries.

The meetings scheduled on November, 4, 7, 10, and 14 will allow residents the opportunity to discuss and interact with others on the district mapping process. Mr. Ely typically uses sample maps as a starting point to give an idea of how equal population district boundaries might be distributed and solicit input and mapping ideas during these meetings.

The meetings will be held:
• Wednesday, November 4, 2015 – 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Orangethorpe United Methodist Church - 2351 West Orangethorpe Avenue

• Saturday, November 7, 2015 – 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Hope International University – 2500 East Nutwood Avenue

• Tuesday, November 10, 2015 – 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Maple Neighborhood Center – Lemon Park, 701 South Lemon

• Saturday, November 14, 2015 – 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Sunny Hills High School – 1801 Warburton Way

Translators will be present to assist with language needs in Spanish, Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese.

R.S.V.P.'s are requested, but not required, to help plan for the number of attendees and translation needs.
