Fullerton Community Center to Offer Whole Foods Nutrition Class
Fullerton, CA - Tired of cooking but want to eat healthy? Want to avoid obesity? You can feel fuller and healthier while eating less!
Many health experts agree that eating more whole foods is essential for improving health, preventing disease and managing weight. Attend “Eating Your Way to Health,” a free four-week nutrition education and food preparation series at the Fullerton Community Center on Fridays, 1 to 2 p.m., September 4 through September 25.
The class, led by health instructor Cathy Underwood, will disclose the great news about the benefits of whole foods nutrition – whole grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts legumes – foods that are as close to their natural form as possible. Learn more about the true value of good fats, fiber and the protective qualities of phytochemicals. Prepared nutrition samples and tastings will be included during each session.
