We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted as a guest to attend the Harry Potter Dive-In. The Fullerton Community Center is ready to go back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on Friday, August 28th.
We'll 'dive' through the wall at King's Cross Station to end up at Platform 9 3/4 for the first time again, as the Center host another pool and courtyard night to watch: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
Bring a blanket to sit on the grass to enjoy the Wizarding World of Harry Potter from a spot on the lawn and relax while your children work out their energy watching Harry and friends in our indoor pool. The swimming pool will be comfortable for movie viewing and the surrounding area is protected by Memory Charms (lifeguards) to ensure safety.
Registration includes: movie admission, indoor pool access and lots more. First 100 kids to arrive will receive a Quidditch Treat Mix. Registration is $5.00 per person. Children 2 years-of-age and under are free. Admission the day of the event is cash only. Advanced registration is highly recommended, with a limit of swimmers permitted in the pool.
Hogwarts Express doors open at 6:30pm. The movie will begin at 7:45pm. You can wear wizard attire or if you prefer, dress in the Muggle manner.
And that's not all: we'll also have fantastical Two Saucy Broads Pizza & Beer Parlor serving yummy food and different styles and flavors of beers from Bootlegger Brewery. Additional movie favorites will be available for purchase, including Honeydukes Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. No outside coolers, food or lawn chairs allowed.
The Fullerton Community Center is located at 340 W. Commonwealth Ave. Normal operating hours for the Fullerton Community Center are Monday-Friday 7:30am-9pm; Saturday 7:30am-3pm; and Sunday 12-3pm.
