“Bubba and the Big Bad Blues” to Perform at Fullerton’s “Concert in the Park”
Fullerton, CA – The popular blues group, “Bubba and the Big Bad Blues,” will perform at the Fullerton Parks and Recreation Department’s popular outdoor summer concert series on Wednesday, July 29.
“Bubba” is Christopher Clerc, a Fullerton native, who formed his blues band in 1990. His credits include performances with such stars as Ike Turner, Joe Sample and Nat Dove.
The band will perform from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
All concerts in the series are free and will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. While food will be available for purchase at the complex, from the SohoTacos Food Truck and Kona Ice, concert-goers are welcome to bring a picnic supper to enjoy, as well as lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
The Sports Complex is at 560 E. Silver Pine St., which is off Bastanchury Road, west of Brea Boulevard, in the Brea Dam flood control basin.
Parking for the disabled will be available at the site.
Overflow parking will be provided at the First Evangelical Free Church parking structure on the northwest corner of Bastanchury Road and Brea Boulevard. Shuttle service will be provided to and from the parking structure and the sports complex from 6-9 pm.
