Fullerton Museum Presents: Comic Book Superhero Films
Fullerton, Ca - The Fullerton Museum Center is proud to announce the screening of several classic superhero movies in support of their current exhibit, Heroes and Villains: The Comic Book Art of Alex Ross.
On Friday nights, April 24, the Fullerton Museum will show the 1978 classic, Superman followed by the 1975 classic television pilot episode, The New Original Wonder Woman on May 8th.
Heroes and Villains is the first museum exhibition celebrating the artwork of Alex Ross, today’s foremost comic book artist. Ross, acclaimed for the photorealism of his work, is often referred to as “the Norman Rockwell of the comic’s world. ”Heroes and Villains features paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures from Ross’s personal collection. This exhibition has been organized by the Andy Warhol Museum, one of the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh.
