The Safe Streets and Roads for All program is a federal program funding traffic safety Planning Grants (such action plan development) and Implementation Grants to prevent roadway fatality and serious injury collisions. Planning Grants provide funding to develop, complete or supplement a comprehensive safety Action Plan with goals to develop holistic, well-defined traffic safety strategies. Implementation Grants provide funds to implement projects and strategies identified in an Action Plan. SS4A requires an eligible Action Plan in place before applying for Implementation Grants. The SS4A Plan was adopted on June 2, 2026 by the City Council.
