Council Member Nicholas Dunlap received his Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of California, Los Angeles and works in the field of real estate investment and property management.

Council Member Dunlap has been a third-generation Fullerton resident, born and raised. He and his wife Bianca are the proud parents of two little girls. Both as a father and big brother, he has been active in a number of Fullerton community groups and athletics over the years.

Previously, Council Member Dunlap served the community as a Planning Commissioner from 2016-2018, where he was the Vice Chair in 2017 and Chair in 2018. Additionally, from 2012-2013 he served as a Commissioner on the Orange County Housing and Community Development Commission as the appointee of Supervisor Shawn Nelson.

Council Member Dunlap was elected to a full four-year term representing District 2 in 2020. He was reelected to a full four-year term in 2024. His term expires in 2028.
