1 City paid miscellaneous benefits include: medical, dental, vision, life, and long term disability insurances, employee assistance program, retiree health savings account, Medicare, auto allowance (City Manager and Executives receive a flat rate per agreement or Executive Resolution. Chief of Police and Fire Chief are issued vehicles for City use, annual cost is estimated. City Manager, Chief of Police and Executives also have access to $750 per year reimbursement for medical examination and $2500 per year for tuition reimbursement.
2 EPMC is the CalPERS Employer Paid Member Contribution.
3 EPEC is the CalPERS Employer Paid Employer Contribution.
4 The amount of Member or Employer Contribution that is paid by the employee.  Amounts are based on employee agreement or Executive Resolution.
5 Annual salary includes uniform pay of $68.47 per mo. for Chief of Police and $60.02 per mo. for the Fire Chief. 
6 Incumbent began employment prior to employee agreement implementation; wages and benefits are covered under the Executive Resolution.
7 50% of this positions total compensation is covered by the City of Brea.
8 Position does not have an employee agreement; wages and benefits are covered under the Confidential/Non-represented Resolution.
Includes City Clerk stipend of $225 per month.
