Fullerton, CA –The popular weekly Thursday Night Downtown Fullerton Market will be closed in observance of the 4th of July holiday. In addition, temporary road closures and "no parking" restrictions will be in force around the Fullerton High School campus, when the City of Fullerton presents its 24th Annual Community Festival and Fireworks Show.         

The festival will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Fullerton High School Stadium, which is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Berkeley Avenue and Lemon Street.

Admission is free.

Roaming entertainment, a live band, games and food booths will mark the event, which will be topped off by an aerial fireworks display set to music by Pyro Spectaculars of Rialto at 9:00 p.m.              

Two streets will be closed temporarily on the Fourth for the event:  Lemon, between Chapman Avenue and east Valley View Drive, from 3:30-10 p.m.;  and Berkeley, between Chapman and Harbor Boulevard, from 3:30-10:30 p.m.

There will be no parking on Berkeley between Harbor and Chapman from Thursday, July 4 at 8:00 a.m. to Friday, July 5 at noon

There will be no parking on the East side of Pomona between Chapman and Union from midnight on Thursday, July 4 to midnight on Friday, July 5, 2013. On-street parking will also be prohibited on Berkeley.           

Free parking will be available at the Plummer Parking Structure, located at the southwest corner of Lemon and Chapman;  the Wilshire Parking Structure, located on Wilshire Avenue, one block east of Harbor Boulevard;  and the North Justice Center, 1275 N. Berkeley, west of Harbor.

The Fullerton Market will resume its normal operation the following Thursday, July 11, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
