The City of Fullerton's Public Information Office is a division of the City Manager's Office. The primary function is to coordinate all external communication between the City and citizens. The Public Information Office is responsible for news releases, social media, community outreach, and general information management.

The Public Information Office works closely with the City Council, City departments, news media, the public and other government agencies to assist in building a more open and accessible city government. It is the City's official information outlet to media related inquiries.

The Police Department has a Public Information Officer that addresses police and crime related matters. You may call 714-738-6829 or visit the Fullerton Police website for further inquires.

2024 City of Fullerton Holiday Closure

In observance of the Christmas and New Year's Day holiday, Fullerton City Hall will be closed from Tuesday, December 24, 2024, to Wednesday, January 1, 2025. City Hall will resume regular operating hours on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

2024 City of Fullerton Holiday Closure

In observance of the Christmas and New Year's Day holiday, Fullerton City Hall will be closed from Tuesday, December 24, 2024, to Wednesday, January 1, 2025. City Hall will resume regular operating hours on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Graffiti removal and street sweeping services will continue as usual.

Street and park maintenance services will continue at a reduced rate. Divisions will work together to ensure services are delivered at an appropriate level.

Animal Care Services through OC Animal Care will continue to operate on a regular basis except for December 25, 2024, and January 1, 2025.

Republic Services will be closed December 25, 2024, and closed on January 1, 2025. Christmas tree pickup services will be available. Republic recommends leaving Christmas trees next to carts for pickup at no charge; trees must be less than 6'. City Hall Closure Dates 

Fullerton City Hall will be closed from Tuesday, December 24, 2024, through Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Fullerton City Hall will reopen again on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

City Hall

Public Works – Engineering public counters will be closed on the scheduled city holiday closure dates. Applications for permits can still be submitted at pwpermits@cityoffullerton.com. The applications will be reviewed once City Hall reopens on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Maintenance Yard

Fullerton's maintenance yard front counter will be closed to the public on the scheduled holiday closure dates. Residents calling the maintenance line at (714) 738-6897 will be directed to Police Dispatch for emergencies and water turn-ons.

Residents requesting water service turn-ons may do so online at Water Service Turn On After Hours.

Public Safety

For police, fire or life threating emergencies, call 9-1-1. Non-emergencies can be reported by calling the Fullerton Police Non-Emergency line at (714) 738-6700.

The Fullerton Fire Department and the Fullerton Police Department will continue to help the public during these holiday closures.
