Male Shot and Killed in Fullerton – Witnesses Sought

On Friday May 28, 2021, Fullerton Police Officers responded to the 3500 block of West Valencia Avenue regarding a single vehicle traffic collision into a house. Officers received further information that an occupant of the vehicle had been shot.

Upon arrival, Officers discovered a male near the vehicle with apparent gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, that male was pronounced deceased on scene. The identity of the deceased male will be released by the Orange County Coroner.

A second male occupant of the vehicle also had injuries from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers began life-saving measures and the male was transported to a local trauma center. He is expected to survive his injuries.

The house the vehicle collided into had damage to its exterior. Nobody inside the home was injured as a result of the collision or shooting. 

Initial investigation revealed a male subject was seen running from the scene eastbound on Valencia Avenue after the collision. No further description is available at this time. Currently, it is unknown whether this crime was gang-related.
