Vendor Booths

Visit the plaza and check out a variety of art on display and visit the various art organizations on site handing out valuable information. You will have the opportunity to buy paintings, watch art demonstrations, do ceramics, and more.DON’T MISS OUT!

Main Stage

Come and watch a variety of music and dance performances throughout the evening.

  • 5:00-5:30: Ultrasound – Listen to this local youth band perform a variety of rock-n-roll cover songs
  • 5:30-7:00: dancers from CF Dance Academy perform “Andy’s Toy Box”
  • 7:00-7:30: dancers from Stage One Dance are performing
  • 7:30-7:45: dancers from CF Dance Academy perform “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”
  • 7:45-8:15: dancers from Stage One Dance perform
  • 8:15-9:00 – dancers from CF Dance Academy perform “Corpse Bride” and “Beetle Juice”

Sanctuary (located at the West end of the building) –

Fullerton College Community Band, consisting of students and community musicians, will perform a variety of traditional and contemporary wind ensemble music throughout the evening.

Fellowship Hall (located at the East end of the building)–

Fullerton “Sister Cities” is showcasing an art display of the International Jr. Ambassador Art Exchange.The artwork on the theme of “Where I Live” depicts aspects of life related to the communities in which the students live.Students participating are from 1st through 8th grade and the art will be representative of Mexico, China, Korea, Japan and Fullerton.

Latin dancers from “El Gusto Mexicano” will do Mexican Folkloric dance shows.
(5:30-6:30 and 7:30-8:30)

3. Fullerton Museum Center

301 N. Pomona Ave.
The Museum showcases 2 exciting exhibits:

  • Solid Design: Leo Fender’s Telecaster – This exhibit showcases the Telecaster through a display of rare vintage and modern guitars.
  • 100 Worst Album Covers – Remember how cool album covers used to be? They were the visual art of the analog audio age. For this show, FMC has collected a gallery of album art gone awry – 100 covers we deem the worst in the world.
  • The Museum gift shop is open.
  • The Museum auditorium is host to the following artists:
    • Local Fullerton acoustic guitarist Nik Lozano and his band will perform a variety of original and cover songs to include: rock, pop, reggae, soul, jazz, R & B, and blues. (5:00-5:45 & 7:00-7:30)
    • Local singing duo “Baby Boomers Anonymous” will perform hits of the 50’s and 60’s. (6:00-6:45 & 7:45-8:15)
    • The Hunger Artist Theater company members are giving a sneak peak to their upcoming performances of “Frankenstein in Love” and “Haunted House at the Muck”. (8:40-9:00)

4. Graves Gallery

114 E. Amerige Ave.
Graves Gallery hosts an opening reception for a special exhibit called “Opening Night” exclusively featuring Fullerton resident artists.The exhibit will feature a combination of art including paintings, photography, mixed media, sculptures, glassworks and more.Many pieces will be available for purchase.

5. Hibbleton Art Gallery

112 W. Wilshire Ave.
This gallery focuses on the works of the latest underground artists.They are dedicated to art that provokes thought and initiates discourse, whether it is considered subculture, pop surrealist, outsider, graffiti, lowbrow or street.Come inside to catch a glimpse of their newest exhibit and listen to live music.

6. Max Blooms Café Noir

220 N. Malden Ave.
Take a short walk to check out this 1940’s style coffee house that gives a taste of local history with film, music, and movies.

7. Mo’s Music

121 N. Harbor Blvd.
A variety of ragtime musicians will take the stage throughout the evening at “The Cave,” performance venue at Mo’s Music.Solo piano, dual piano, piano four hands, small ensembles and vocals will all be featured in an exciting preview of the upcoming RagFest 2009.

8. Painter-Larson Academy of Irish Dance

112 E. Amerige Ave.
Dancers from this studio will perform an evening of Irish Dance
(5:15, 6:15, 7:15, 8:15 – 30 to 45 minutes each performance)

9. Village Art Center

529 N. Harbor Blvd.
The gallery is exhibiting artists’ works from Brad Faegre, John Hunzicker, Marciano Martinez, Mike Major, Mike Sheehan, Ann Runco and Gloria Stiles.Artists are on site throughout the evening to meet the public.

10. West Coast Conservatory

701 N. Harbor Blvd.
West Coast Conservatory (WCC) presents an evening of vocal and instrumental performances by the WCC students and faculty.

11. Food

Food vendors are located on Wilshire Ave. selling delicious items including: hot dogs, bratwurst, hamburgers, salads, kettle korn, corn on the cob, stuffed baked potatoes, tamales, sweet potatoes, funnel cakes, fried ice cream bars, ice cream cookie sandwiches, and a variety of beverages.


The city’s annual celebration of the arts, “A Night in Fullerton” offers free music, art and dance programs at numerous locations around the city. Sites include the award-winning Fullerton Museum Center, local art galleries and music conservatories, local colleges and universities, the Fullerton Public Library, and the Muckenthaler Cultural Center.

The program was established more than 40 years ago by volunteers to make citizens aware of the cultural opportunities available in their hometown, as well as focus a spotlight on talented local artists and performers.

The Fullerton Parks and Recreation Department assists the committee in presenting the event.

All programs are offered free to the public.

A variety of food booths will be available on Wilshire for visitors to grab a snack on their way to the many events offered for the evening. There are also numerous restaurants in the downtown that will be open for business;however, due to the anticipated crowds, reservations are recommended.
