Celebrating Children will be the theme as visitors to the Fullerton Museum Center will get a unique look at children from many different countries in their latest exhibit, "Where Children Sleep: Photographs by James Mollison" which opens Saturday, November 22, 2014 through January 25, 2015.
An Exhibit Opening Reception will be held from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. on November 22. “Where Children Sleep: Photographs by James Mollison” invites us into the diverse stories of children in many different countries and circumstances. Each studio-style portrait is accompanied by a detailed study of the child's "bedroom," which can range from elaborate sanctuaries to the barest spaces set aside for sleep. “Where Children Sleep: Photographs by James Mollison” is organized by Curatorial Assistance Traveling Exhibitions, Pasadena, California. The reception is free for museum members and $10 for all guests.
The night will include a variety of entertainment, refreshments, a curator's talk and more.
