City of Fullerton Update on Arrest

The City confirms that one of the individuals arrested in the Huntington Beach disturbance on Sunday, July 28th is Fullerton employee, Michael John Lytle, a resident of Anaheim. He was off-duty at the time of the incident and was not scheduled to report back to work until August 1.

As a result of the incident, Lytle is currently on paid administrative leave while a personnel investigation is conducted. The criminal investigation will be conducted separately by the City of Huntington Beach.

Lytle was hired as a Firefighter by the City of Fullerton on February 11, 2008.
