If your vehicle was impounded for: Registration problem- Correct the problem before you can obtain a released.

Unpaid Parking Tickets- Correct the problem before you can obtain a released.

Unlicensed or Suspended Driver- Vehicle owner is liable for towing, storage, and release fees.
- Vehicle subject to a 30 day hold OR show proof that the cited driver's license was reinstated.
Storage Validity HearingsStorage validity hearings are provided by the Police Department pursuant to CVC,22852. The purpose of the hearing is only to determine if the officer had lawful authority to store or impound the vehicle. Requesting a TowPursuant to CVC, 22658, private property owners, or their agent, may request a tow company remove a vehicle from their property. Sign RequirementsSigns must be in plain view at all entrances to the property A sign not less than 17 by 22 inches in size Lettering not less than one inch in height Prohibiting public parking and indicating that vehicles will be removed at the owner's expense, Signs must contain the telephone number of the local traffic law enforcement agency. Signs may also indicate that a citation may also be issued for the violation. Fullerton Municipal Code 3.75.320 K requires the following on each sign:
NO PARKING UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES SUBJECT TO TOW-AWAY AT OWNER'S EXPENSE.
