The Crime Impact Unit conducts investigations related to crime trends involving career criminals/repeat offenders. A large majority of career criminals/repeat offenders are either on active parole, probation or both. The Crime Impact Unit works closely with Parole and Probation Officers to monitor parolees and probationers within the City of Fullerton. The Crime Impact Unit operates in many modes but primarily in an undercover capacity.

Information in reference to career criminals/repeat offenders, or those on parole or probation, often times come from private citizens concerned about the quality of life in their community. If you wish to assist the Crime Impact Unit with information about a crime trend or career criminal/repeat offender, the following information should be included if possible:

• Name and any identifying information of the subject(s) you are reporting
• A detailed physical description of the subject(s)
• A detailed description of the crime or activity they are involved in
• Vehicle description including year, make, model, color, and license plate number
• Any other information which you believe would be important or a safety consideration for investigators
• Your name and contact information, or you can remain anonymous
