The Recruitment is now CLOSED

FIREFIGHTER RECRUITMENT WRITTEN EXAM RESULTS

· 678 candidates took the written test.

· The passing written score is 70.

· 138 candidates scored 82.63 or above and have been invited to oral interviews.

· 356 candidates passed and have been placed on a “Hold List”.

Although no ranking system is used once the eligible list is established, candidates are invited to orals based on written score. For comparison purposes only, of those on the hold list:

105 candidates scored 78.68 – 81.84

102 candidates scored 75.53 – 77.89

108 candidates scored 71.58 – 74.74

41 candidates scored 70.00 – 71.58

In order to preserve the integrity of recruitment, we will not release any scores until the process is completed. Passing scores will be sent via email by January 15, 2010. Due to the volume of candidates, breakdown of scores will not be provided.

Oral Interview results will also be sent via email by January 15, 2010.
