The Summer Playgrounds program offers activities such as arts & crafts, cooperative games, educational enrichment, excursions, special events, and team sports. Children must bring a sack lunch daily. Additional excursion fees apply. Your child may request additional money on some of the excursions to play games, buy snacks or souvenirs. | | REGISTRATION: | Early registration begins Monday, June 2nd, weekdays, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in-person at Independence Park (801 W. Valencia, Gymnasium Office). On-site registration will begin on Monday, June 16th at all of the parks listed below. For more information, please call (714) 738-6575. |
ORANGETHORPE
RECREATION CENTER EXTENDED day7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., $75 per week, (7:30 a.m. – Noon / 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.)(TO REGISTER, "CLICK" HERE)
The Orangethorpe Recreation Center offers Extended Day camp activities for parents and children that are interested in the traditional summer day camp experience. Extended day activities include specialized arts & crafts, educational enrichment, and character development. Children must bring a sack lunch daily. Additional excursion fees apply (see list). Your child may request additional money on some of the excursions to play games, buy snacks or souvenirs. You may register online, by phone, or in-person at Fullerton City Hall, Parks & Recreation Department (basement floor) prior to the first day of camp. Transportaion will be provided to and from Summer Playground locations. All activities are limited to registered participants of the Summer Playgrounds Program. Activities are scheduled from 12 - 4 p.m. unless otherwise noted below. |
