SUMMER ART CLASSES- Clay Working Classes ($45/4 sessions) May 17th - June 11th
Clay with Gary Hamner covers techniques as hand building, wheel-throwing, decorating and firing. Classes are: Monday 3:15 - 4:15 p.m., grades 1 - 3 Wednesday 1:30 - 2:30, grades 1 - 3 Wednesday 3 - 4 p.m., grades 4 - 6 (An additional $5 lab fee is payable to instructor on the day of the first class) - One Day Workshop -- Print Making with Melanie Vogel
Saturday, May 8th 9 - 11:30 a.m. $20 kids/$25 adults CAMPO DA VINCI Explore Science as Art -- Art as Science Summer camp classes for student "scholars," grades 4 through 8. Students will build hot air balloons, catapults and discover art in architecture. Two (WEEK-LONG) sessions will be held Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 2p.m. Session I -- June 21 - 25 Session II -- June 28 - July 2 Cost is $120 per student (additional materials fee $20 payable to instructor on the day of the first class); students must bring sack lunch each day. WORKING WITH THE MASTERS Explore the art of glass, drawing, watercolor and paint over three, week-long sessions in August.

Festival days feature food and drinks, information booths, live entertainment, and special main events such as staged new play readings, our plays-in-progress series, one-act plays, and more. Founder's Day August 1, 2004This annual festival day salutes Founders and Members alike! A Gala Dinner with the presentation of the Muckenthaler "Star" Awards will benefit the Friends of Jazz and Muckenthaler Cultural Center Foundation. Local talent will be showcased throughout the evening along with entertainment by the John Peace Super Band. Cost is $75 per person, call the Muckenthaler for reservations. |
