The Tri-City Authority established the Tri-City Master Plan Design Committee to oversee the creation of a Master Plan for Tri-City Park. The Tri-City Park Master Plan Design Committee is made up of community representatives from the cities of Placentia, Fullerton and Brea as well as Parks & Recreation Commissioners and staff from all three cities. Phase 1 of the master planning process consisted of a site inventory and analysis and discussions of opportunities and constraints. The Design Committee started working with a landscape architect (Mia Lehrer and Associates) in August, of 2009, as part of Phase 1. Phase 2, which is the community input phase, kicked off on December 5, 2009 with a public meeting held at Tri-City Park. The public was given the opportunity to give feedback as to what they thought about the park, what their likes and dislikes about the park were, and so on. The residents of the three cities have been and are still invited to give feedback about the park. Phase 3 will be the creation of a proposed master plan with alternates, to be presented to the Authority in late March 2010.
