Arboretum Ground Tours
Weekdays by reservation

Heritage House Tours
Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. (except the month of January and August, major holidays and inclement weather). Weekday group tours by reservation only.
Arboretum Plant Sales and Garden Shop in The Potting Shed
Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Weddings and Social Events
Plan a garden wedding and reception under the wisteria-covered arbor, by the lake or on the orchard lawn. Call 278-4791 for information.

Tri-County African Violet Show and Sale
February 23 & 24, 2008
Hundreds of African violets on sale and free show. Free to public. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m

Monster Tomato and Pepper Sale
March 13-16, 2008
Featuring over 180 tomato varieties and over 80 varieties of sweet and hot peppers. Largest tomato and pepper plant sale in California. Hours all days 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission free to public.

Western BBQ and “Hoedown”
Western BBQ, refreshments, dancing and entertainment. See Arboretum website for cost, time and details.

Green Scene Plant and Garden Show
April 19 & 20, 2008
Largest outdoor plant and garden accessory show in Southern California. Over 100 vendors. Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Members free. Admission is $6/adults and children under 12 free. 

Herb Extravaganza and Plant Sale
May 3-4, 2008
Hundreds of herbs and related plants on sale. Exhibits and cooking demonstrations. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission free.

Plein Air Painters –Wine and Cheese Party
May 31, 2008
Plein Air Painters display paintings around the Arboretum and for sale. Late afternoon auction and wine and cheese party. Check website for time, cost and details.

Perennial Plant Sale
June 7 & 8, 2008
Featuring hundreds of perennial plants and related plans for sale. Admission free. Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tomato Tasting and Sizzlin’s Summer Salsa Contest
July 12, 2008
Free event featuring tomato judging for best varieties and homemade salsa contest. Bring your best tomatoes and salsa for judging. Hours 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Midsummer Night in the Garden Gala
July 19, 2008

Salvia Spectacular Plant Sale
