GEMS Programs

Growth, Empowerment, Motivation, and Success

GEMS Teen Center

The GEMS Teen Center offers a local, safe location for teens ages 12 – 17 to interact with positive role models. Teens participate in activities which highlight personal development, academic achievement, re-enforce conflict resolution methods, and encourage civil responsibility and respect of self and others.

The program hours are: Monday – Friday, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

GEMS After-School Program

The GEMS After-School Program offers a safe environment where students, ages 5 - 12, receive homework assistance and encouragement. Volunteer tutors utilize games and crafts as learning tools to aid in promoting academic success.

The program hours are: Monday – Friday, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Youth Enrichment

“Gente Intelegente" motivates students and their families in academic success through enriching learning experiences and tutorial support.

The program hours are: Monday & Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
