An old-fashioned Independence Day celebration is in store, when the City of Fullerton presents its Annual Community Fireworks Show and Festival.

“First Night” is the city’s annual New Year’s Eve party, offering family-oriented, alcohol-free activities at numerous locations in the streets, sidewalks and buildings in Fullerton’s historic downtown.

Fullerton MarketFullerton Market
When: Begins April 5th; Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Where: Downtown Plaza

Farm-fresh produce, flowers, fresh-baked breads, live entertainment, outdoor beer garden, arts and crafts, and activities for children. In addition to the traditional favorites, new vendors will be added each week. For vendor application and guidelines, CLICK HERE.

Plummer AuditoriumHaunted Walking Tours
When: Wednesdays and Thursdays starting September, 12 2012, 6:00 p.m.
Where: Meet at Fullerton Museum (locations visited on tour may vary)

While a good ghost story appeals to most people, Aimee Aul, Fullerton Museum Center educator and tour coordinator, said the tours’ real draw is they give participants a chance to learn a little about Fullerton’s colorful history.
