Wednesday Art Studio Wednesdays, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Session A: January 21, 2009- February 11, 2009 Session B: March 4, 2009-March 25, 2009 Session C: April 15, 2009- May 6, 2009 Students in grades 1-6 can create original artwork in a variety of media in this loosely structured, highly individualized art studio. A variety of art materials will be explored in this fun after-school program. Pre-paid registration is required. Guitar Gateways Tuesdays, February 10, 2009-May 5, 2009 ( No class April 7) Session A (beginning) 3:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Session B (intermediate) 4:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 will participate in 12 weeks of acoustic guitar lessons, guided practice, and mini courses in music theory, history, and art. Instruments are provided for each student to take home with a refundable deposit. Tuition is $180 and includes a Family Membership to the Fullerton Museum, and $130 for current museum members.Lesson books, and art materials will be provided. Lessons will be taught by Museum Educator Aimee Aul and guitar instructor Eric Ray. Pre-registration is required. Fill out the application and call the Fullerton Museum Center. " The Purse and The Person: A Century of Women's Purses" On public display October 18, 2008-January 4, 2009 Glimpse into the lives of 20th century women from flappers to hippies and many more.
