Reconstruction of Harbor Boulevard, south bound, between Bastanchury and Valencia Mesa:
The median reconstruction and street paving work is planned to be performed on the weekends of September 12-13, October 10-11, October 17-18, and October 21-25. One south bound lane will remain open at all times.
North bound traffic will not to be directly affected by the street reconstruction.
Laguna Road reconstruction from Bastanchury to Valencia Mesa:
The street will be reconstructed in four phases:
- October 31, November 1 (weekend, daytime) – street segment from Bastanchury to Sunnycrest will be closed.
- November 7, 8 (weekend, daytime) – street segment from Sunnycrest to 101 Road will be closed.
- November 14, 15 (weekend, daytime) – street segment from 101 Laguna Road to Valencia Mesa will be closed.
- November 21, 22 (weekend, daytime) – half of the street will be opened at all times with flagman-regulated traffic in both directions.
Traffic delays are anticipated during construction. Alternative routes are recommended.
The construction will be performed by McCarthy Building Companies on behalf of St Jude Hospital. The construction schedule is subject to change. The City Engineering Department will be providing updated information as the project progresses.
