Minutes November 20, 2003 - Project Area Committee No. 2

REDEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE ROOM AT 4:00 P.M.

Called to order at 4:05 p.m.

Present:

Mike Hurst, Walt Johnson, Kim Pouch, Jane Reifer, Mike Ritto, Steve Rose, Brian Williams

Absent:

Rick Crane, Scott Dowds, Christine Fighera, Robert Zerrenner

  1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MEETING ON SEPTEMBER 18, 2003 -

    Approved unanimously.

  2. AMERIGE COURT RFP -

    Terry Galvin explained the provisions of the RRP and responded to questions.

  3. TRANSPORTATION CENTER PARKING EXPANSION -

    Appraisals underway on land; furniture, fixtures, and equipment; and relocation costs. The focus first will be on the Will Mann properties.

  4. McDONALD'S RELOCATION -

    Appraisals are nearly done. The City Council approved negotiating for the two willing sellers on Pomona Ave.

  5. PROJECT STATUS -

    BRE has opened their leasing office and has rented 20 units after two weekends. The Morgan project is currently slated to open in May, 2004. They are currently in process of stucco work.

  6. OTHER BUSINESS -

    The Vanguard Theater is moving into downtown in the Diamond Trophy space. Winter Festival - Mike Ritto distributed flyers for the event on December 6.

  7. ADJOURN -

    Meeting was adjourned at 4:55 p.m.
