Current Status April 2009:
Demolition permits for the existing buildings have been issued.
Brief Description: Student housing with retail, located on the northwest corner of Commonwealth and Chapman. The proposed project involves a Specific Plan mixed-use development of 375 student housing residential units and 30,000 square feet of retail/commercial uses. Approximately 1,105 parking spaces would be provided for the residential units and 120 parking spaces for the retail uses.

Construction drawings are in plan check process (under review by City staff). The Redevelopment Design Review Committee is reviewing the landscape and hardscape plans at their June 12th meeting.
