Welcome to the Community Preservation Division Main Page. The purpose of this division is to promote and maintain a safe and desirable living, and working environment within the City of Fullerton.
The Community Preservation Division enforces regulations related to the following (linked items can be reported through online service requests): Conditions of an existing structure that constitutes a clear and present danger to the public Construction without appropriate building permits Violations of the Fullerton Municipal Code Land use requirements Signs
How to file a ComplaintWe understand that most of these conditions exist within the City of Fullerton, however we cannot see each and every one. Therefore we rely on Fullerton Residents to inform us when they notice them. There are several ways in which you may notify our department of these circumstances: - Online Citizen Support Center - You can make Service Requests online for some issues, or send an email to the city.

Filing a Complaint Using our On-line SystemYou may now file a Community Preservation complaint on-line using the Internet. The information needed to file a complaint is: - the specific address of the violation or complaint
- a detailed description of the complaint
- your name, address, and phone number (kept confidential on our secure server)
Please NOTE: When filing your complaint, follow the instructions carefully. You must enter and confirm the address or location of the violation BEFORE filling out other parts of the form. We will respond to your complaint with an inspection within ten working days from the date your on-line complaint is retrieved from our server. If you would like to receive a call back regarding the disposition of your complaint, please indicate this on the complaint form. Please be aware that due to the nature of code complaints, some case information must be kept confidential. You will be required to register on-line with us before you can use our system to submit a complaint. All registration is stored on our secure server.
