Public Comments will be allowed on items not on the agenda, but within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Commission/Committee. No action may be taken on off-agenda items except as provided by law.

REGULAR BUSINESS

(Items 1 through 4)
  1. REVIEW OF BROWN ACT

    Staff will review The Ralph M. Brown Act affecting commission/committee meetings.

    Recommendation by the Office of the City Clerk:

    Receive and file.

  2. SELECTION OF CHAIR

    The Applicant Review Board will appoint a Chair.

    Recommendation by the Office of the City Clerk:

    Appoint a Chair to serve until January 2006.

  3. REVIEW REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE COMMISSION/COMMITTEE APPLICANT REVIEW BOARD ORDINANCE NO. 3056

    Staff has provided a copy of Ordinance No. 3056 for review.

    Recommendation by the Office of the City Clerk:

    Receive and file.

  4. SET DATE AND TIME FOR INTERVIEWS OF COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE APPLICANTS

    The deadline for submittal of applications for vacancies on City Commissions and Committees is March 1, 2005. It is appropriate to set dates and times to begin interviewing candidates for the various City Commissions and Committees.

    Recommendation by the Office of the City Clerk:

    Set date and time for interviews.
