General Information Packet of Fullerton Prepared By: City Clerk's Office The City Clerk's Office is the records center for official actions of the City Council and the Fullerton Redevelopment Agency, and is responsible for related agendas, minutes, and public hearing notices. In addition, the office receives claims and legal actions against the City; oversees the City's Records Management Program; maintains the Municipal Code and registration/ownership certificates for City vehicles; attests and notarizes City documents; and interacts with the City Council, City staff, and the general public on all related matters. The City Clerk serves as Clerk of the Council, administers municipal elections; is the filing officer for campaign and economic interest statements required by the Political Reform Act; and is the custodian of the City seal. The position of City Clerk is appointed and operates under statutory provisions of the California Government Code, the Elections Code, and City ordinances and policies. The City Clerk's Office is a division of the City Manager's Office. Beverley White is the City Clerk. City Council Minutes & Agendas Copies of the City Council agenda and supporting agenda letters are available in the City Clerk's Office (1st floor of City Hall) starting at 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday before the meeting and may be downloaded from the City's website the Friday before the meeting by 10:00 a.m. On the alternate Fridays that the City Hall is closed and on every Saturday prior to a meeting, the agenda material is available for review in the Reference section of the Fullerton Main Library (next door to City Hall). City Council Meeting Broadcasts Fullerton City Council meetings are broadcast live the day of the meeting on the City's government cable channel, Channel 3. Citizens must be Time Warner Cable subscribers to receive the broadcasts. In addition, each meeting is rebroadcast three times on Channel 3 in the week following a meeting. The rebroadcasts are shown at 6 p.m. the Wednesday and Sunday immediately following a meeting, and at 5 p.m. the Monday following a meeting. View Council Live! |
