The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chair Ron Reed. There was no quorum.

OLD BUSINESS

1. NOISE AND OPERATIONS REPORT/AIRPORT INCIDENTS

   - March/April 2001
   - Public Comments on Individual Complaints

   Rod reviewed two noise complaints received in March and two noise complaints received in April. There was one incident in March of a plane that ran off the runway on landing and destroyed a taxiway light assembly.

2. AIRPORT MONTHLY SAFETY INSPECTION

   None.

3. FAPA REPORT

   None.

4. MANAGER'S AIRPORT UPDATE

   All bids for the South Ramp Project were rejected because the costs were too high. The City will redesign the project and re-issue the bids for a start date of July 2001.

   Rod said the City has interviewed for the Airport Master Plan Update and will hire the consultant for this project.

   Rod reported the Airport security system is working well. The Airport is without DSL capability until June.

   Rod has talked with the Fullerton South Rotary Club for participation in Eagle Flight in September, 2001.

   In response to a question from Wade Richmond, Rod said Airport Day will be held in 2002 and FAPA helps with that event.

5. KFI RESOLUTION

   Postponed.
