Fullerton’s “Concert in the Park” Series with “The Answer”

Fullerton, CA – Popular rock band, "The Answer," will be playing at the Fullerton Parks and Recreation Department's popular outdoor summer concert series Wednesday, July. 17.

“The Answer,” which specializes in the classic rock sounds of such legends as Jim Morrison and Creedence Clearwater.

“The Answer” is celebrating their 49th year together, and was the favorite house band for several years at Music City, co-owned by the legendary Righteous Brothers. The group has also performed at such popular night spots as The Hop, The Catch, The Boogie, The Coach House and The Crazy Horse Saloon.

Lead singer Van Mosley has starred opposite of Dale Kristien, star of both the Los Angeles and Broadway productions of “Phantom of the Opera.” He has also won a Drama Logue “best actor” award for his performance of Daddy Warbucks in a regional production of “Annie.”

All concerts in the series are free and will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m.  While food will be available for purchase at the complex, concert-goers are welcome to bring a picnic supper to enjoy, as well as lawn chairs or blankets for seating.  

The Sports Complex is at 560 E. Silver Pine St., which is off Bastanchury Road, west of Brea Boulevard, in the Brea Dam flood control basin.

Parking for the disabled will be available at the site. 

Overflow parking will be provided at the First Evangelical Free Church parking structure on the northwest corner of Bastanchury Road and Brea Boulevard.   Shuttle service will be provided to and from the parking structure and the sports complex from 6-9 pm.
