|Fullerton, CA - Applications are being sought from those interested in filling vacancies on the Board of Trustees of the Fullerton Museum Center. The Fullerton Museum Center is a cultural museum and home of the Leo Fender Gallery. The museum provides year-round music and art programs for kids. |
The Board of Trustees is responsible for helping raise funds to help finance exhibitions at the award-winning Fullerton Museum Center, and provides the Museum staff with recommendations regarding exhibits and programming.
The board works in cooperation with the City of Fullerton, and the terms are for six years. Meetings are held the third Monday evening of each month at the Fullerton Museum Center.
Applications are available now with a deadline for returning them by Friday, July 12, 5:00 p.m. Applicants do not have to be Fullerton residents.
Applications may be obtained by calling the Fullerton Museum Center at (714) 738-6545, or by visiting the Museum at 301 N. Pomona Ave., one block east of Harbor Boulevard, in downtown Fullerton.
Applications may also be found on the Museum section of the city website at www.cityoffullerton.com.
Museum hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Museum is also open from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
Persons requiring special accommodations to serve as a trustee are asked to notify the Museum staff when submitting an application.
