Citizens are invited to join Fullerton Mayor Sharon Quirk-Silva on a “Walk and Talk” Saturday, September 1.
The walk will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Amerige Park. Citizens are advised to meet the mayor in the parking lot at 300 W. Commonwealth Avenue, next to the baseball field.
Quirk-Silva said all citizens are welcome, “but they have to be prepared to walk!” While walking, citizens will be able to ask questions about city activities and projects, as well as talk about matters of concern to them. The walk will also include a sneak peek tour of the new Community Center.
Participants are advised to wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.
No appointments are necessary to participate in the “walk and talks;” citizens are welcome to just drop by and join in.
