On exhibit at the museum through Nov. 20 is “Frida Kahlo: Through the Lens of Nickolas Muray,” which spotlights the often tempestuous and always colorful celebrated Mexican artist Kahlo as depicted in photos taken by Muray through the course of their 10-year love affair.
Muray, renowned for his pioneering work in color portrait photography, began photographing Kahlo in 1931. Those images, on display in the exhibit, reveal not only the work of a master photographer, but the passion of an extraordinary love story.
MG Disposal Systems, the city's trash contractor, will not observe the holiday, and will make trash collections on the 11th.
The 24th Annual Fullerton Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony will be held Nov. 11. The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Downtown Plaza, located on Wilshire Avenue, east of Harbor Boulevard and adjacent to the Fullerton Museum Center, and end at Hillcrest Park at the intersection of Harbor and Valley View Drive.

All veterans are welcome to join in the parade. Participants are asked to arrive at the plaza no earlier than 10 a.m. To participate, veterans must be able to march in regular cadence for approximately three-quarters of a mile.
No banners other than the flags carried by the JROTC units will be allowed in the parade.
