America’s servicemen and women will be honored in a special early “Veterans Day” salute Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center.
The program will begin at 10 a.m. with a dramatic presentation of World War II-era President Franklin D. Roosevelt by impressionist Peer Small.
Following Small’s performances, veterans attending the program will be invited to share their military remembrances, photos and mementos.
The Fullerton Union High School Junior ROTC will present the colors for the flag salute prior to lunch, and will then perform close-order drill routines for the audience.
Lunch will be served at noon.
The Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center is located at 340 W. Commonwealth Ave., two blocks west of Harbor Boulevard, in Amerige Park.
Further information about the program may be obtained by calling the center at (714) 738-6305. Persons requiring special accommodations to attend the “Veterans Day” salute are asked to notify the center staff prior to Nov. 10.
