There have been massive amounts of coverage in the news media about the H1N1 Virus, but how much is valid and how much is just hype?

Answers to that question and information on how to recognize the virus, commonly referred to as “Swine Flu,” will be the focus of a special program to be offered Monday, Nov. 23, by the Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center.

The program, which will begin at 10 a.m., will feature medical professionals from CareMore Medical Group, who will discuss the flu threat, plus describe the symptoms to watch out for, as well as prevention and treatment methodologies.

The program is free to the public, but pre-registration is required and may be made by calling the Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center at (714) 738-6305.

The Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center is located at 340 W. Commonwealth Ave., two blocks west of Harbor Boulevard, in Amerige Park.

Persons requiring special accommodations to attend the program are asked to notify the center staff prior to Nov. 23.
