The Korean-American Parkinson’s Support Network will host a special health presentation on Parkinson’s Disease Saturday, Sept. 12, for Korean language speakers.
The free workshop, “What is Parkinson’s Disease,” will be held from 10 a.m.-noon at the Fullerton Senior Multi-Service Center, 340 W. Commonwealth Ave., two blocks west of Harbor Boulevard, in Amerige Park.
Neurologist Duk Kim, M.D., will discuss Parkinson’s symptoms and treatment options during the workshop.
The workshop will also explore the need for a local support group for Parkinson’s patients and/or their family members. The workshop would meet monthly at the senior center.
Refreshments will be served.
